It's more like a small airliner than it is like other light jets. For example, the Learjet 31A's electrical system allows the main dual batteries and emergency battery to provide backup power in the unlikely event of a double generator failure, giving the pilot full navigational capabilities, including ILS landings. It features airliner-style hot air anti-icing, versus the de-icing boots normally found on light jets. Its refueling system is compatible with those of all airlines. And it's the only light jet with four wheel brakes, for added redundancy and safety.
